Marmot Limelight 4P Tent:
Marmot Limelight 4P Tent is a spacious and high quality dome tent with lots of headroom. It sleeps up to 4 people, and it is a perfect tent for family camping. Campers who used it said that they were easily able to fit a dog in it.
It is very easy to set up and it’s a freestanding tent; which means that it can be used without guy lines when the wind speed is low. It has 4 double corner pockets for camping gear, one middle pocket to tuck the door in, two gear lofts on the roof for small items, plus a small hooks and a clip for a lantern. The door can be fully unzipped and removed or can be half opened.
The fully seam-taped 68-denier polyester taffeta fly is what makes it one of the top five waterproof tents. Not to be confused with the XTE, which is an all-season tent, the spacious Eureka! 2-Person Mountain Pass is a three-season dome tent that was made with light but highly breathable fabric. It was designed for backpackers who like to head outside regardless of the type of weather, and it offers an inside area of 33.5 ft².
The tent features two built-in vestibules (10.8 ft² in the front and 7.6 ft² in the back) for wet shoes and cookware, plus two doors, one on each side, so that campers can easily get in and out of the tent. It also has five pockets and one movable gear loft.
Very much like the Marmot’s airflow system, Eureka’s air exchange system allows warm air to leave the tent through the top vent and lets cool air in from the bottom one to provide excellent ventilation and reduce condensation. In addition, the two side panels can both be unzipped if further breathability is needed.
Eureka! 2-Person Mountain Pass Tent can be used without guy lines and stakes during nice weather, and its set up is very straight-forward and fast. The doors, the windows and the side panels can all be stored in the available stash pockets.
The reinforced 7000-Series Aluminum frame, along with the 1800mm waterproof coating of the rainfly along with the included 3000mm waterproof footprint make this tent not only very durable but also a very impermeable one. In addition, it is convertible and it can be transformed into an entirely different tent since the side panels can be removed during hot camping days and put back for colder weather.
This tent only weighs around 6 lbs (3 kg) and measures 88 in (223.5 cm) of length, 56 in (142.2 cm) in width and 41 in (104.1 cm) as a peak height.

It did also pass the waterproofness test since Its Polyester 2000 mm PU-coated flysheet makes it highly waterproof against light, moderate and even heavy rain.
Two small vents are available in the back of the tent, one at the top and another one with a zip at the bottom for extra ventilation. The flysheet with its two panels on the sides can be fixed using guy ropes to allow for more circulation of the air through the meshes. In addition, there are two spaces between the flysheet and the floor on each side that allow air to circulate and be refreshed should the front and back panels be closed. This setup helps prevent condensation, while the breathable polyester below the flysheet keeps away the condensation droplets that may build inside.
Packing it up is easy and only takes about 3 minutes including the removal of the stakes, the guying out, the folding and the packing. Its sleeping area is 82.7 in (210 cm) X 70.9 in (185 cm) and its maximum height is 40.9 in (104 cm).
